Holidays Are Here Again!!

As of 3pm this afternoon we will have the pleasure of Joshua, Nicola, Matthew and Samuel for 2 weeks, for the June/July holidays. These are not the easiest holidays due to being in the middle of winter. It means coming up with lots of activities that can be done in doors, although we may be lucky and have some really warm days.

Here are a few things that we might do:
  1. Because we live close by we could go and visit Australia Zoo. We recently took the kids and they loved it. Jessica is constantly asking to go back.

2. Maybe Aussie World. We have been there also with the kids a few years ago and they loved it as well.

3. Another thing that we may do cause we have been invited to come along to a day is going to Top Shots

4.Apart from just theme park things I was also thinking about taking them to pick strawberries cause we are just coming into strawberrie season.

5. Another thing that would be great to do with the kids is to take them to an Opal place where you can fossick  for Opals.
There are heaps more things those are just a few things that I have come up with.

One of the things that is always very exciting about this time of the year is the Toy Sales. You can Layby all the Christmas presents now and pay them off and then pick them up at Christmas time. It is getting even better in the fact that they also are starting to do it online which makes it heaps easier when you don't have these stores around the corner. This is also a great time to stock up on birthday presents as we have  3 birthdays coming up in August, September and December.

  8. I live in the United States, so it is hard for me to think of winter in June, July and August. It is 104 degrees today where I live. My daughter spent 19 days in Australia when she was in high school, as a student ambassador. It was a great experience for her.

I found you through NetworkedBlogs and am now following. I have a son with autism. Please check out my blog when you get a chance and let me know if you'd like to exchange links on our blogrolls.
