This is the book that Sam go out of the library at school a few weeks ago. We forgot to send it back. He loves me to read it too him every night before he goes to bed. But he is getting really good with his reading skills that without too much prompting. I am so proud of him. Even though he has things that he struggles with such as social skills and his ability to control responses to emotions, there are things that he just seems to fly with such as reading and maths. So even though he has Asperger, there are also positives from this.
I found this great Kid-O Bilibo - Blue which I think all the kids would have so much fun on. I would probably have to get 5 of them other wise there would be fights. Maybe this is something I will look at when it is Matthews birthday in August.

ReplyDeleteYes it takes a little patience and a whole lot of strength to homeschool. I do know many moms out there homeschooling several special needs kids at one time, so it can definitely be done.
